Streetwear Meets Cultural Empowerment In Qasimi Fall/Winter 2025
To be honest, We are not sure why we reviewed this as the collection is pure perfection.

Qasimi's Fall/Winter 2025 collection showcased artistic flair and cultural storytelling, all executed with a strong attention to detail. Creative Director Hoor Al-Qasimi delivered a powerful collection that blended the designer's signature streetwear-inspired elements with deep cultural references, particularly through a collaboration with Māori artist Emily Karaka. The collection explored themes of land rights, ancestral connection, and resilience, embodying strength and empowerment in every piece.
The color palette was grounded in moody shades of black, dark navy, and gray, with bursts of blue and orange. Monochrome looks dominated the runway, often contrasted with textured pieces. Some of the standout looks included a white shirt with scrunched-up sleeves paired with tapered pants featuring subtle tartan patterns and knotted hems.
There was also a black single-breasted suit with fuzzy details—timeless, feminine, yet modern—and a tartan kimono jacket with oversized sleeves, paired with gray leggings and boots. These pieces seemed tailored to appeal to the Asian market, as Martino Carrera of WWD recently reported that Qasimi's key accounts in Japan are starting to place orders again.
The collection takes an edgier turn with pieces like a tank top crafted using hand-knotting techniques, creating a crochet-like texture that somewhat reminded us of the Proenza Schouler woven top from the Fall 2018 collection—but, frankly, Qasimi’s take is more unique, adding a raw streetwear edge with high-fashion appeal to the collection.
Overall, the collection was a celebration of craftsmanship and culture, delivering clothing that was both functional and artistic, yet deeply meaningful. Qasimi's Fall/Winter 2025 collection was a triumph of style and substance, offering a bold new direction in luxury menswear that resonated with strength, resilience, and cultural pride. To be honest, We are not sure why we reviewed this as the collection is pure perfection.
